About Us
Pioneering Early Detection of Diseases of Ageing and Concussion
Our Innovation
RapidDx is developing an inexpensive, state-of-the-art, handheld diagnostic device designed to assist clinicians in the precise detection of dementia diseases, particularly Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. RapidDx’s patented device, the RAD, aims to harvest, process and analyze saliva to identify biomarkers present using advanced lateral flow technology and provide clinicians with positive or negative results.
Scientific Foundation
Our groundbreaking work is built upon the pioneering research of renowned scientists Dr. Balwant Rai and Dr. Paul Slowey. RapidDx has accumulated an impressive portfolio of intellectual property, including granted patents for our “lab in your hand” device, for Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s detection. Patent applications are in an advanced stage of prosecution for additional patents for Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s, as well as for traumatic brain injury (TBI), especially concussion.
Strategic Partnerships
We have successfully licensed the manufacturing and distribution of our concussion detection technology to a US-based company, ensuring that we retain full ownership and control over intellectual property and ongoing development.
Our Commitment
At RapidDx, we are dedicated to enhancing the capabilities of healthcare providers through innovative diagnostic solutions, ultimately improving patient outcomes and quality of life.
Executive Team
At RapidDx, our success is driven by a team of seasoned executives dedicated to innovation and excellence. Each person brings a wealth of experience and a passion for advancing diagnostic solutions.
